Ivor Houlker is a multidisciplinary performer and artist, who works internationally as an actor, musician and director. He has worked with OPT Gardzienice under the direction of Włodzimierz Staniewski for a number of years, as well as collaborating with members of Tadeusz Kantor’s company, the Grotowski Centre, Mischa Twitchin (of Shunt), Helen Chadwick (Song Theatre) and Andrea Cusumano. Ivor’s own devised work has been shown in London, Edinburgh, Brighton, Prague, Palermo, Epidaurus, Wrocław, Warsaw and Lublin.
James Hodgson is currently the Theatre Manager at Canada Water Culture Space(The Albany), and co-artistic director of We Are A Real. Hodgson studied at Rose Bruford College, specialising in postmodern theatre practice, and DAMU, Prague. He is currently collaborating with Ming Beasts on their latest project, Awful, acting as composer/music director. His devised work includes A Blank Space, Men Avoid Jars, Operation: Verdad Infinita and Clowns in the Closet. Discoveries and pioneering(controversial) practice is often central to his work.
Jake Harrison trained at Rose Bruford College and the School of Music and Performing Arts (VSMU) in Slovakia.
Jake has toured as Picasso at the Edinburgh Festival, The Old Vic Tunnels and the Grotowski Centre in Wroclaw with Traumatikon, harassed Czechs as a master gentleman clown and as chorus for Mademoiselle Julie at the Barbican Theatre which has since thankfully led to his being type-cast in smoochy roles such as Claudio of Much Ado, and gentleman clowns on tour…
